Lot of 2, I/C Early American Checks, Includes: 1782, $49.78/90 early manuscript payment made payable to William Reed and signed by John Chaloner (1747-1798) Philadelphia merchant and Bank of North America director; 1795, Bank of Pennsylvania, $350 Check Signed by Pratt & Kintzing, an early Philadelphia mercantile firm active in the late 18th century, with Henry Pratt and Abraham Kintzing as partners. Checks are marked cancelled with hatch marks or cut at center, VF to XF condition. (2). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
