The auction will take place on February 17, 2026 at AIA's office located at 1060 Main St., Suite #202, River Edge, NJ 07661 beginning at 11:00 AM
Lot of 57 security printing reference holders, each containing at least three original items, primarily consisting of engraved text panels used for the body of stock and bond certificates. The group is heavily weighted toward long-form contractual text, including mortgage clauses, transfer language, redemption terms, interest provisions, and other boilerplate sections central to stock and bond design. Supplementary material includes bond coupon panels, numerals and denomination counters, signature specimens, ornamental seals, vignette fragments, borders, and layout elements. Many pieces show printer’s annotations, trimming, layout testing, or proofing marks, consistent with internal production use rather than finished securities. A wide range of engraving styles, typefaces, and text densities are represented across multiple industries and issuers. Conditions vary, with handling wear, toning, and age-related flaws typical of working security printing material. A substantial and highly technical study group of security printing ephemera, ideal for advanced scripophily collectors, researchers, or engraving specialists. (At least 170+ items total; 57 holders). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
