Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. 1851. $1 Proof banknote printed on thin off white card stock cut down to bank note size. Very light purple "Property of American Bank Note Co." hand stamped on back. Printed in black with no undertint. Multiple vignettes cover both sides and the entire bottom. Note states "Will pay One Dollar on demand to bearer as directed by the Act of the Assembly of the 4th May 1841. RE-ISSUE, Jany 1. 1851". Danforth, Bald & Co. Philad & New York imprint on bottom of note. POC. Choice to Gem Uncirculated Condition. DBC.
