Paint Rock, Alabama. March 6, 1862, A.S. Fraziers, 5¢ Scrip Note Rarity, Black text on white ruled paper with light blue lines, endorsed on the back by Frazier in red ink, S/an 47, "Good For Five Cents in Common Currency….", The large "5" on the left was evidently altered to be a higher denomination "50" with the "0" written in pencil. VF condition. Extremely rare and first time offered by us. No previous examples could be found at auction in the last 20 years.
