York Town, VA, 1862, 50 cents, Issued, small sailboat on top and small dog on bottom middle, payable at York Town Wharf or at H.T. Pairo & son, Richmond, the note would have graded a nice Good to VG but has been rebacked, a vertical split in the middle repaired and a small piece of the left edge repaired, attractive note rarely seen in any condition. S/N 138, There are 3 Hebrew Letters on the bottom margin to the left of the small dog, evidently by the printer.
