Pennsylvania, April 10th, 1777. Lot of 4 Issued banknotes: 3 Pence, P-S2573; 4 Pence, P-S2574; and 6 Pence, P-S2575 (2). All have black text with the arms of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and are printed by John Dunlap. All are in Almost Fine to VF condition with toning and signs of wear. John Dunlap (1747 – 27 November 1812) was an Irish printer who printed the first copies of the United States Declaration of Independence and was one of the most successful Irish/American printers of his era.
