Lot of 4 items, includes 3 banknotes, New York, March 5, 1776, 2/- 8 Pence, VG with 2 pin holes on upper left margin; Continental Congress, Philadelphia, PA, May 9, 1776, $6, VG and Sept. 26th, 1778, $30, CG-F; also included is a United States Lottery ticket, Second Class dated November 18, 1776, toned, mounted on thin card with left border missing, otherwise VG-Fine. Also includes note as to history of the notes which were found in a false bottom dresser in the 1890's.
