New York, 1929. American Bank Note Company, “10 Denomination. Specimen Note”. Unfinished specimen with back completely printed in black and the face with m/c undertint only without black border, vignette and title printing. Evidently this was used as a test note for security watermarks for the “Central Bank of the Philippines”. Found on the back of the note are very faint “1” and “Central Bank of the Philippines” watermarks or security ink under prints. On the face, there is also a very light yellow watermark in the place of the vignette of a small circle with man turning the Unique in this format. The only example available. Choice uncirculated condition. ABNC.
