Silesia, Poland, 1928. $100 Specimen 7% Thirty Year Sinking Fund External Gold Coupon Bond, Black print with blue border, Female and male figures at top and Arms of Republic of Poland at bottom, Fine to VF condition with archivally reinforced splitting and cracking at fold lines, ABNC. This bond was part of efforts to finance public projects and regional development in Central Europe. Silesia, with its complex history, was undergoing significant changes post-World War I. The bond aimed to fund infrastructure improvements, such as roads and public utilities, which were essential for modernizing the province. Such bonds played a crucial role in supporting local economies and promoting community cohesion in a culturally diverse region. Rare bond with only 2 examples found in the ABN Archives in 2002. This is the only one available.
