Lot of 2 Unissued Banknotes from the New England Commercial Bank: $3, Black print with green underprint, Allegorical woman at top center with ornate 3 designs, XF condition with toning or what appears to be a water stain; and $5, Black print with green underprint, Allegorical figures at top, Eagle at top left, AU condition. The New England Commercial Bank was established in 1818, and remained a state-chartered bank until its closure in the early 1900s. (2)
