Cincinnati, Ohio. 1851 (ca.1859). 5 Denomination ad note with green security undertint on very light tan paper from 1859 Cincinnati Directory. Impressive and very attractive version of engraved note with Native American man on left, Allegorical woman in middle top with eagle and Native American woman on right with spear and Bow. The undertint in green also has additional lettering "American Bank Note Company, Patent Green Tint. Ornate lettering and text describing the items produced by this well known early banknote engraver that eventually was one of the founding companies of the American Bank Note Company formed in 1859. Rare and attractive ad note. Uncirculated condition. RWHE.
