New York, 1851. Original Printing Invoice from Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson on blue paper, Black printing with dark brown handwriting, Allegorical woman in frame at top left corner. Invoice total was $226.30 for various printing services ordered by the Lonsdale Company. VF condition. The Lonsdale Company was one of the world's largest textile manufacturers of the late 1800s. Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson (RWH&E) was one of the most prominent printing and engraving firms in nineteenth-century America. It was also the first to receive a government contract for designing and printing U.S. postage stamps.
