Religious Medal. German legend of Mary and Joseph medal. 37x44, loop as made. Vertical oval. White Metal, grey tone; Holy Name Society, Jesus. 37mm. St. Joseph, Mary as Sorrowful Mother. 37x44mm. Even surface of tin pest; St. Loui's (sic) Church Buffalo, NY. Bell at center. Considered mother church of Buffalo, it was build in the 1840s and burnt in March 1885. This medal showing a bell was probably made as a fundraiser for the reconstruction effort with metal from the old bell. It would be for a nice relic medal. 35mm irregular uniface lead; Most Sorrowful Heart of Mary Have Pity on Us and Our Children. Pieta scene; Reverse with Saint Joseph Powerful Intercessor Pray for Us and Our Children. 37x44, loop as made. Vertical oval. White Metal and Copper-Nickel. 7 pieces.
