Auction Date:2010 Apr 15 @ 11:00 (UTC-4 : AST/EDT)
Location:Crowne Plaza Hotel. 401 South Van Brunt St, Englewood, New Jersey, 07631, United States
Michigan, 19xx (ca.1920's), Less than 100 shares. Orange border with 3 allegorical figures. ABNCo. Specimen, XF. Scarce and popular automobile with well known founder and famous WW I flying Ace, Eddie Rickenbacker. The company manufactured stylish, mid-priced cars, but was not successful and closed in 1927. Its demise was due, in part, to the introduction of four-wheel brakes which were rejected by the industry for marketing reasons. The next year he bought a controlling interest in the Indianapolis Speedway, which he retained until 1945.
