Russia, 1800-1900s. Lot of 90+ Russian and Soviet banknotes spanning Imperial, Revolutionary, early Soviet, and later USSR issues. The group includes State Credit Notes, Treasury notes, credit tickets, and later Bank of Russia and USSR issues in a wide range of denominations, designs, and formats, representing multiple monetary reforms and political eras. Designs feature imperial eagles, allegorical figures, Lenin portraits, architectural views, and ornate guilloche patterns, with both small- and large-format notes present. Conditions vary widely from Poor to Fine or better, with folds, edge wear, tears, staining, and handling consistent with circulation and age, alongside some cleaner examples.
