New Orleans, Louisiana, Lot of 3 items, Includes an instrument of protest issued in New Orleans, Louisiana, signed and notarized by P. Bienvenu, Walter H. Peters, Notary Public, along with an embossed seal and 5c adhesive revenue stamp. Printed on blue paper and measuring 16.7" x 10". Also included are a pair of 1st and 2nd Exchange bills, each with a 2c revenue stamp. The first of the exchange bills is attached to the instrument of protest and carries a hand stamp reading "Protested for non-accountance" along with the date and notary name. Both were signed and issued in San Francisco. VF condition. Rare California exchanges along with New Orleans document.
