Both bonds are similar $1000, denominations with building, and ship at dock scene, Pink underprints. Serial #2808 and 2809, 37 coupons attached to each, all hand signed by John Geary, Civil War Union General, first mayor of San Francisco, governor of the Kansas Territory, and the 16th governor of Pennsylvania. Issued and cancelled. Exceptionally clean and bright for this issue. Additional signatures D.J.Tallant; William Hooper and others. Rare early San Francisco bonds.
