Shanghai, China. $10 Mexican Dollars (Dix Piastres Local Currency), P-S568 (S/M#H190-), uniface specimen or proof, Green on light blue, Arms on top over curved title of lion and dragon, harbor and wharf scene with steamboats, sampans and train at bottom, sides with ornate engravings, 2 punched out cancels, cut to banknote size, blank back, Choice to Gem Uncirculated condition. Extremely rare note that we have never had the privilege to offer previously in our auctions. This is from a new find and is the only example found. This note is unpriced in the SCWPM and described only as rare. This may be the only opportunity within the foreseeable future to ever own this outstanding banknote. Printer G&D.
