Lot includes 2 pieces: 1937, $500 Specimen 3.25% Debenture Coupon Bond in green; 1960, $10,000 Specimen 3 1/8% Debenture Bond in orange. Both have specimen overprints, 00000 and 00-000 serial numbers, and POCs. VF condition, ABNC. Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company was once the regional Bell Operating Company serving the states of Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina prior to the breakup of AT&T. It also covered the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee until 1968 when those were split off to form South Central Bell. (2)
