Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia. 1948. 5 Shillings, P-8s, Unlisted Approval Specimen banknote, purple, portrait of King George VI on right with arms on top middle, back m/c, POC, no specimen overprints or serial numbers, 114mm by 70 mm, Approval text typed in red on face lightly with signature and date from official of the Standard Bank of South Africa, Ltd., and the London and Southern Rhodesia Currency Board. PMG graded Uncirculated 61 with pin holes on the top right margin that can only be seen from the back and a very light paper clip mark on the left border. Unique approval specimen. BWC.
