Camden, NJ. $5 & $10, 1820's, Wait 342, 349, & 351, R-7. Four Pieces(two $5 and two $10) on the State Bank at Camden near Philadelphia. The two $5 notes are both Wait #342, a contemporary counterfeit, printed in black, with the NJ State Arms central vignette. The $10 Wait 349 is printed in black with a cherubs vignette. The $10 Wait 351, another contemporary counterfeit, is printed in black, with a NJ State Arms vignette(not the same as Wait 342). The State Bank at Camden was incorporated in 1812, and became the National State Bank in 1865.
