Camden, NJ. $3, Jan. 2, 1862, Wait 335, R-5. VG-Fine, The State Bank at Camden was one of the pillars of early banking in New Jersey. Formed in 1812, it received a National charter in 1865, eventually becoming the First Camden National Bank & Trust. This is a spurious note similar to Wait #332, with a Leney & Rollinson imprint. This note has the Fairman, Draper Underwood & Co. imprint, and is dated January 2, 1862. Black printing, with a maiden and child vignette.
