Rhode Island, July 2, 1780, $5-$7-$8-$20-$1-$2-$3-$4-$5-$7-$8-$20-$1-$2-$3-$4 Complete Uncut Double Pane Sheet of 16 banknotes, Black text with black border on face, red and black on back. A fully signed and serial numbered on the face uncut sheet. The sheet is complete out to its deckled edge on all four sides. This example has edge splits and the paper is slightly toned. There are 2 sets of each denomination, with serial numbers 1440 and 1411. All have been signed by Adam Comstock and Caleb Harris, and have been printed by Hall and Sellers. A light fold in the middle keeps the sheet from uncirculated. If the sheet was cut, almost all of the notes would grade Uncirculated to Gem Uncirculated condition. Adam Comstock (Jan 18, 1740_Apr 10, 1819) was an officer in the American Revolution, and served with Washington's army at Valley Forge.
