Texas, 1925. Black-and-white photograph captures a full-length side view of Texas & Pacific Railway Locomotive No. 600, one of the earliest examples of the revolutionary 2-10-4 “Texas-type” steam locomotives. Photos display sharp mechanical detail and feature grease pencil engineering annotations. The back is dated December 19, 1925, aligning with the inaugural year of the Texas-type engines developed for the T&P. Printed across two photographic sheets, this striking set is an important historical record of one of the most powerful steam locomotive classes of its time. Ideal for collectors of T&P, ALCO, or early 20th-century American railroading. (ex-Garden State Railroad Collection).
