The auction will take place on December 6th and 13th, 2016 at AIA's office located at 1580 Lemoine Ave., Suite #7, Fort Lee, NJ 07024 beginning at 10:30 AM for both sessions.
China, currency note issued by the Hengshun Pickling Shop in Xiguan Town, Teng County, Shandong province in 1925. Top of the note shows texts of the address and shop name, with images of two sitting businessmen. The main text in the center says "Please pay the bearer 3000 copper cash coins at an exchange rate of 94%". The text on the right side is the serial number which is block Yuan and number 880, as well as "no loss reporting and no payment at night". The text on the left side shows the date of March 1st 1925. The back side shows multiple panels of portraits of Chinese ladies. The text in the center is "A far origin flows long", and the small text around it is from a famous memorial proposed to the king by Zhuge Liang. VF grade with ink writings and water stains.
