Texas......, ca. 1930s. Group lot of various pages from periodicals, mostly related to The Texas Corporation (popularly known as Texaco). Highlights include: The Texas Corporation and its relationship to the industry, 3 pages double-sided with a colorful map on exterior, highlighting the locations of refineries, headquarters, major oil fields, and oil producing states; 2 page article with photos about the International Harvester II; Several (4+) separate pages of "Faces of the Month," likely not all from the same periodical, with photos and excerpts about various business leaders and figures, such as Eleanor Roosevelt, Col. William C. Procter, and Sinclair Lewis; and other pages of industrial news and articles. All are in VF condition. Interesting lot related to Texaco. Texaco, Inc. ("The Texas Company") is an American oil brand of the Chevron Corporation. Its flagship product is its fuel "Texaco with Techron". It also owned the Havoline motor oil brand. Texaco was an independent company until its refining operations merged into Chevron Corporation in 2001, at which time most of its station franchises were divested to the Shell Oil Company.
