U.S. and Germany, ND (1870s-1900s). U.S. designed and produced advertising cards, business cards, letter heads and bill heads offered by a German printing company, Joseph Heim, from Leipzig and Wien, as samples of American work. Evidently they represented the American companies in Europe as (American Mercantile Work), the card is 12 x 9.5 inches with card designs from mainly Buffalo, New York including Office fixtures, Indian souvenirs, Horse Blanket dealer, bicycle company and others. 8 different card and letterhead designs are included on the sheet. VF condition with the upper left corner bent and stained. All were printed by the Courier Lith Co., Buffalo, NY.
