New York, 1924. $-Odd Specimen 4% Registered First Mortgage Bond, Black text with orange border and underprint, Columbia College seal at top flanked by allegorical figures. Red specimen overprints, 00000 serial numbers, and POCs. Fine condition with archival reinforcements and a small chip out of the top excess margin, ABNC. Columbia College is the oldest undergraduate college of Columbia University, situated on the university's main campus in Morningside Heights in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. It was founded by the Church of England in 1754 as King's College, receiving a royal charter from King George II of Great Britain.
