ca.1859-1870's. Allegorical patriotic woman "Freedom" proof vignette. Possibly used on obsolete banknotes, stocks, bonds, checks and security printed documents. The vignette is 1 to 3 inches in size. Printed on india paper and mounted to archival manila card with plate number on vignette and on card. Printed by ABNC but possibly engraved by a predecessor printer. Appears in choice condition, but unfortunately the vignette was torn on the lower 1/4 near the base when pasted onto card. Unique in archive. Please inspect. Dynamic Patriotic female vignette. ABNC.
