1840-1860's. Proof. 8 different proof vignettes of allegorical women. Includes 3 related to the harvest or agriculture; 2 patriotic vignettes with eagles; and 3 miscellaneous. Printers include RWH&E, CBNC, and BCC. All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila card with plate number at top of the card and on the india paper. All have very slight foxing or glue staining except 2 which have small internal tears from mounting, but otherwise a very attractive and rare group. All are rare or unique in archive. RWHE, BCC, CBNC.
