National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) of the Smithsonian Institution $1 Commemorative Issue Silver Dollar, Obverse shows design from 1913 Indian Head or Buffalo Nickel, a composite profile of Iron Tail, an Oglala Sioux chief, Two Moons, a Cheyenne chief, and Big Tree, a Kiowa chief while the reverse shows a buffalo. According to the legend, the buffalo used as a model for this coin was "Black Diamond" (1893-1915), a famous buffalo at the Central Park zoo in New York City. Coin is 90% silver and weighs 26.73 grams. AU to UNC condition.
