1830-40's. P-Unlisted. Proof. Famous vignette used on Confederate $10 Banknote T-30. Printed on india paper and mounted on manila file card. "General Marion Inviting a British Officer to Dinner". On lower left "Patented by John B.White". Plate # V-40164. RWHE was printer. Possibly remounted to this card from another location due to minor tears on left, top and right of vignette. Glue stains on right, but appears Fine. Rare proof vignette. RWHE.
