Lot of 6 Depression era scrip and emergency currency notes from multiple municipalities and organizations, Includes: Erie, Pennsylvania issues payable through the Erie Clearing House from the Security-Peoples Trust Co. Central Branch in $1 (2) and $5 (2) denominations; City of Detroit $1 municipal issue; $1 Trade Dollar issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Cambridge, Wisconsin. Designs feature engraved borders, denomination counters, and official municipal and commercial text typical of local emergency currency issued during the banking crisis of the early 1930s. Conditions range from Fine to VF overall with folds, handling, and light circulation wear. (6). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
