The auction will take place on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 at AIA's office located at 1060 Main St., Suite #202, River Edge, NJ 07661 beginning at 11:00 AM
1840-1850s. 7 different vignettes of allegorical figures, angels, cherubs, farmers and Native Americans with the numeral "1". 2 are compound proofs with multiple vignettes. 3 are printed by BB&Co. and 6 are unattributed but are by earlier printing firms. All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila card with plate number at top of the card and on the india paper. All are cut down large die proofs. Some have light foxing or glue staining but overall a choice group. Please inspect. Rare group of early vignettes. (7)
