21 different intaglio prints and engravings. 5 x 7 inches. 19 are reprints of U.S. Northern and Confederate Civil War generals made from the original printing plates of "Elias Dexter" from the 1860-70's. They have the portraits of the military notable on the front and on the inside of the folder there is biographical information and a time line of important events in the persons lives. Generals include Stuart; MAgruder; Beauregard and many others. All are in choice condition. Printed circa 1930-60's. Also included are 2 additional prints from the 1860-70's, one of Alexander Stephens which was engraved by Samuel Sartain. Scarce and interesting assortment.
