1850-1890. Proof. 9 different product labels; company trademark labels; organization logos or "Arms"; or advertising proof vignettes. Includes vignettes of "Benjamin Franklin"; "Connecticut Mutual Life insurance Co."; "Steam - Its Infancy and Progress" with steamboats and trains; "Prairie shooting" with birds and possibly a gunpowder label; "Badge G.A.R."; "Missouri Arms"; "Craftsmans Life Assurance Co." with dirty old man "Father Time" playing with young woman's hair; Un-named life insurance company vignette with allegorical woman; and, "Bear River Tunnel Co." with a funny looking bear or hairy pig. Printers include ABNCo. and CBNCo. and others. All are larger format between 3 to 6 inches in size. All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila card with plate number at top of the card and on the india paper. All have very slight foxing or glue staining and slight wrinkles and 2 have small internal tears from mounting, but otherwise a very attractive and rare group. All are unique in archive.
