1840-1900's. Proof. 7 different patent medicine or medical vignettes used on advertising and labels. Includes "Bear'sOil" with ugly bear; "Foster's Backache Kidney Pills"; "Exposition Prize Medal"; "Ives' Patent" with eagle beneath; "Sulfate of Quinine" label with factory; and, "Humiston Food Preserving Co" with vignette of "The Antispetic Conquering Time". All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila card with plate number at top of the card and on the india paper. Printers include ABNC; DW&C; and others. All have minor to heavy foxing or glue staining. Most are unique in archive.
