ca.1860's-1870's. 8 different vignettes of miners or miners working in mines used on obsolete banknotes, stocks, bonds, checks and security printed documents. The vignettes range from 2 to 3.5 inches in size. Titles include "Bottom of the Shaft"; "Miner" and the balance untitled. All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila cards. Printers include CBNC (6); NBNC (1) and 1 unattributed. All are in VF to choice uncirculated condition. Please inspect. Extremely attractive and rare group of mining vignettes from Continental BNC.
