U.S., 1883-97. Lot of 5 Morgan Silver Dollars including three San Francisco Mint issues dated 1883-S (3) and two New Orleans Mint issues dated 1887-O and 1897-O. Each coin is struck in the standard Morgan Dollar composition of 26.73 grams with a silver fineness of .900, giving an actual silver weight (ASW) of 24.06 grams per coin (0.7734 troy oz). Total weight for the lot is 133.65 grams, with a total ASW of 120.30 grams (3.867 troy oz) of silver. Choice Fine to VF condition. Designs feature the Liberty head obverse and heraldic eagle reverse by George T. Morgan used on U.S. silver dollars struck from 1878 to 1921. (5). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
