ca.1840's-70's. 17 different vignettes of Native Americans in various settings and poses. All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila file cards. Titles include "The Bark Canoe"; "Indian Queen"; "Cayudutta" with micro engraving "Drawn & Engraved by V.Balch" on bottom right and "La Hija De Los Incas" with the others untitled. Mixed condition with 5 vignettes having moderate to severe faults due to glue staining and internal tears, with the balance ranging from Xf to choice uncirculated condition. Rare group. Printers include WHHW; ABNC; CBNC; TCC; DWC; BCC and others.
