Lot of 2 items, Includes U.S. Navy Third of Exchange Bill, April 27, 1868, $5000, I/U, the exchange has a Sailor standing on left pulling up U.S. Flag on flag pole with matching proof vignette, portrait of George Washington on bottom middle and sailing ship on top middle, black printing on off white paper, TS/N 17, payable in American Gold Coin, Issued from the U.S. Ship (Monayahela). VF-XF condition, the exchange has the imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co., and the proof vignette has the imprint of Danforth, Bald & Co.
