ca.1840-50's. LDP vignette of the numbers 1 and 2. Evidently engraved on the same die with a very small allegorical woman holding an anchor. The "1" vignette has a woman and an Indian and the "2" vignette has a sailor and woman. Plate # V 39655. Printed on india paper on white card. Pristine condition. Ornate and attractive vignette. Printer is not listed but it is an ABNC predecessor company's work.
