1980-1990's. Artwork. 12.5 by 13 inch pen and ink drawing of "automobile with crowd of people" vignette used on the stock certificate of Lear Corp, which is one of the largest suppliers of automobile interior systems and components. Drawn on white paper taped to large cardboard backing. Unique in archive. Signed By Richard Baratz, well known artist and engraver who has designed and engraved numerous U.S. postage stamps as well as banknotes. He is also an extremely talented fine artist, engraver, illustrator and the house caricaturist for Sardi's Restaurant in Manhattan. His work can be seen almost on a daily basis in the Wall Street Journal, where he has drawn hundreds of portraits of well known business men and women. ABNC.
