Washington, D.C., 186x (ca.1860s), Specimen Draft or warrant, black printing and black border on light blue-gray paper with light red underprint "United States", Payment for Collections, POCs in the signature blocks, Standing allegorical woman at left, portrait of George Washington at top middle, small train at lower left, the right border is stained and it appears to be water damaged, the bottom border is missing a 5 mm strip into the design from the lower left to right, Attractive, and rare, though there are problems. ABNC. No other similar examples have been found of this type.
