Washington, D.C., 187x (ca.1870s), Specimen Draft or warrant, black printing on white paper with light orange border and underprint, Screaming Eagle at left and portrait of the Post Master General on the top middle, Payment for Transportation of the Mails is crossed out as well as other text in red, Light Purple diagonal SPECIMEN overprint in middle, Serial #351 on top left, POCs in the signature blocks, AU to Uncirculated Condition. Evidently a remainder warrant was used as a specimen with changes. National Bank Note Company, printer. Very possibly unique.
