ca.1840's-80's. 18 different Revolutionary War (11); Civil War (2) and Colonial (5) related vignettes. Most were used on obsolete banknotes, stocks, bonds and drafts. All are printed on india paper and mounted on manila cards. Printers include ABNC; BCC; TCC; RWHE; Homer Lee BNC and un-attributed. Titles include "Signing the First Constitution on Board the Mayflower, 1620"; "Return of the Foragers"; "Paul Jones"; "Landing of the Pilgrims, A.D.1620"; "Lincoln's Birth Place"; "Landing of Pilgrims"; ""Ram Cartridge" with the balance untitled. All of the vignettes range from 1 to 3 inches in size. Mostly choice condition. Please inspect. Rare group of early War related vignettes, with most well known.
