Ohio, 1955 and 1956. Lot of 2 I/C "Series E" Savings Bonds, Includes: March 1955, Akron, Ohio, $1000 Bond, Black with green underprint and Abraham Lincoln at left, S/N M34430756E pp H, PMG graded Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ with comment "With Routing & Account Number;" January 1956, Canton, Ohio, $500 Bond, Black with green underprint and Woodrow Wilson at left, S/N D35257359E pp A, PMG graded Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Both have facsimile signature of the Secretary of the Treasury - George M. Humphrey and printed by BEP. (2). Both deserve further research, since the interest payments of over 60 years seems extremely high, with the $1000 bond having been redeemed for $7,170.40 in 2014. Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
