Complicated transitional bond that originally was a "Security Banknote Co" bond that has a red overprint over the vignette that states "On March 3, 1965, Security-Columbian BNC was merged with Lanston Industries. Incorporated under the name of "United States Banknote Co.", a Virginia corporation...". Red specimen overprints and POC's. This historic bond gives the timeline of the creation and demise of 3 different companies that all were acquired by ABNC. Rare. SBNC.
