U.S., 1839-1935. Lot of 4 silver half dollars including an 1893 Columbian Exposition Commemorative Half Dollar and Walking Liberty Half Dollars dated 1928-S, 1929-D, and 1935-D. Each coin is struck in the standard U.S. half dollar composition of 12.50 grams with a silver fineness of .900, giving an actual silver weight (ASW) of 11.25 grams per coin (0.3617 troy oz). Total weight for the lot is 50.00 grams, with a total ASW of 45.00 grams (1.447 troy oz) of silver. Designs feature the Columbian Exposition commemorative portrait of Christopher Columbus and the classic Walking Liberty motif used on U.S. half dollars from 1916 to 1947. (4).
