1830-50's. 10 compound proofs with a total of 25 vignettes, all are small except for one which is 4.5 inches by 2.25 inches. Proofs have some sort of cross hatching separating the vignettes. Vignette designs include: Steamships; running deer; eagle and shield; farmers; pig and chicken; man and dog on fox hunt man on horse; matching pair of allegorical women facing each other with U.S. patriotic shields; allegorical woman sitting by cargo on dock; man pouring water from an urn; harvested grain; buildings; beehive; state coat of arms and allegorical women with grain. 4 are printed by BCC except one printed by TCC, the balance have no imprints. Conditon ranges from VG to XF. Some foxing and very light glue stains on a few. All unique in archive. BCC, TCC.
